Operational Overview

When North Bihar and Eastern plains are submerged by severe monsoon floods, Ujjwal Kartavya launches round-the-clock boat rescues, clean drinking water deliveries, high-calorie dry ration packs, halogen water purification tablets, and mobile medical relief boats.

The Challenge On Ground

Floods isolate entire riverine villages within hours, cutting off potable water, submerging food grain stores, and triggering water-borne epidemics like cholera and gastroenteritis.

Ground Execution & Operating Protocol

1 Pre-monsoon disaster stockpiling of halogen tablets, tarpaulins, and dry rations.
2 Emergency relief dispatch within 6 hours of flood warnings.
3 Inflatable boat operations into cut-off riverine panchayats.
4 Medical triage camps addressing snake bites, fever, skin infections, and diarrhea.
5 Post-flood rehabilitation kits containing seed mini-kits and household restoration tools.
